We use the information we collect for various purposes related to operating and improving the Squad Blitz app:

Facilitating fantasy league management.
Enabling and managing chat functionality between users.
Sending push notifications related to game updates, league activities, or other relevant information (via OneSignal).
– To Personalize Your Experience:
Tailoring app content and features based on your preferences (e.g., favorite team).
– To Improve Our Service:
Analyzing usage patterns (via analytics services like Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics) to understand how users interact with the app, identify areas for improvement, and optimize features.
Monitoring and reporting errors and crashes (via Rollbar) to maintain app stability and performance.

Firebase (Google LLC): For authentication (Firebase Auth), real-time database (Firestore), and web hosting (Firebase Hosting). Your data stored with Firebase adheres to Google’s privacy and security standards.
Rollbar: For error reporting and crash analytics. Information shared helps us identify and fix issues within the app.
OneSignal: For delivering push notifications to your device.
Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics (to be implemented): For collecting and analyzing app usage data to understand user behavior and improve our Service.
– With Other Users within the App:
Your chat messages and images posted in chat are visible to other participants in the respective chat conversations.
Your name, email address, and profile picture are visible to other members within the fantasy leagues you join.
– Business Transfers: In the event that Squad Blitz is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via a prominent notice on our Service or by email before your information becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
– Legal Requirements: We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency request).
– Aggregated or Anonymized Data: We have not yet shared aggregated or anonymized data for external research or marketing purposes. However, we reserve the right to do so in the future. Such data cannot be used to identify you personally.
5. Data Security
We are committed to protecting your personal information. We implement and maintain reasonable security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We rely on the robust security measures provided by Firebase, which includes encryption at rest and in transit, and secure infrastructure. Access to our databases and user data is strictly limited to our core team members. Contractors are granted limited access with non-admin privileges, strictly on a need-to-know basis. Despite our efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you request that your data be deleted, we will remove it from our active databases. We may retain certain information for a longer period if required by law, for legitimate business purposes (e.g., record-keeping, fraud prevention), or to resolve disputes.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Squad Blitz app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
8. Your Privacy Rights
You have certain rights regarding your personal information. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at app@squadblitz.com. We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable.
Access: You can request access to the personal data we hold about you.
– Rectification (Correction): You can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
– Portability: You can request to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
– Deletion: You have the ability to delete your account directly within the app. Upon request, we will also delete your associated personal data from our databases. While we do not currently have an automated process for all these requests (other than account deletion), we will fulfill them manually upon verification of your identity.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
